MEMBERS OF DISTRICT CONSUMER FORUM - AMENDMENT

TO THE TELANGANA STATE CONSUMER PROTECTION

RULES, 1987.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 30

read with sub-section (3) of Section 10 of the Consumer Protection Act,

1986 (Act No. 68 of 1986) the Government of Telangana hereby makes the

following Amendments to the Telangana State Consumer Protection Rules,

1987 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 473, Food and Agriculture (CS.III) Department,

Dated: 2.9.1987 and as subsequently amended from time to time.

AMENDMENTS

In the said rules,

In rule 3, for sub-rule (1), the following shall be substituted namely :-

"The President of the district forum shall receive a consolidated

amount of Rs. 75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand only) per

month as honorarium and the Members of the District Forum shall

receive a consolidated amount of Rs. 55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five

Thousand only) per month as honorarium".
