TS TRANSCO - STRIKES - PROHIBITION OF STRIKE IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TRANSMISSION

CORPORATION OF TELANGANA LIMITED AND TWO DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES

(i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTH WITH EFFECT FROM

25-08-2018.

Whereas, orders were issued in the G.O.Rt.No.10, Energy Department, Date: 21.2.2018, declaring that any

service under Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies as an essential

service as defined in sub clause (v) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Telangana Essential Services

Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act No.20 of 1971)

And whereas, the government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public

interest, in all services under Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies for

a further period of six (6) months w.e.f 25-08-2018.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Telangana

Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes

in all the services under Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies viz.

TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL for a period of six (6) months with effect from 25.08.2018.
