CONSTITUTION OF SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

AND MEMBERS OF THE TELANGANA STATE ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION.

[G.O. Ms. No. 22, Energy (HR.A1), 28^th December, 2018.]

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 85 (1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Act 36 of 2003), the

Government of Telangana State hereby constitute a Selection Committee with the following, for selection of persons

for appointment as Chairman & two members of the Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission:-

(i)

Justice (Retd.) Sri V.Bhaskara Rao,

Chairman

Retired Judge of High Court of AP and Telangana.

(ii)

Chief Secretary to Government,

.....

Member

(iii)

Chairman, Central Electricity Authority or

his/her nominee

.....

Member

The Special Chief Secretary to Government, Energy Department, Government of Telangana State shall be

the Convener for the above selection Committee.

The Selection Committee shall finalize the panel of two suitable persons for each post of the Chairman and

two Members in the Commission as per the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and shall submit the said panel

along with the details to the Government, within two weeks of this order.
