ORDINARY ELECTIONS TO GRAM PANCHAYATS, 2019 - RESUMPTION OF COUNTING OF
VOTES OF SARPANCH OF DOWNA GRAM PANCHAYAT OF BELA MANDAL, ADILABAD
DISTRICT.
No. 363/TSEC-PR/2019-6:– Whereas, in reference No. 363/TSEC-PR/2018, dated 01-01-2019 the State
Election Commission issued Notification for conduct of Ordinary Elections to Gram Panchayats in three phases in
the State.
And Whereas, the Downa Gram Panchayat of Bela Mandal in Adilabad District is notified for election in
Phase-I.
And Whereas, as per the election schedule notified in the Annexure-I appended to the Notification
No. 363/TSEC-PR/2018, dated 01-01-2019, the date of poll of Gram Panchayats notified in Phase-I is from
7.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. and counting of votes from 2.00 P.M. onwards on 21-01-2019.
And Whereas, in Lr. No. 01/K2.Pts/2019, dated 21-1-2019, the Collector and District Election Authority,
Adilabad District reported to the Commission that, the Returning Officer Stage-II of Downa Gram Panchayat of
Bela Mandal, after completion of poll, conducted counting of votes of office of Sarpanch. Out of 403 votes in the GP
354 votes were polled as indicated below.
