CONDUCT OF ELECTION TO FILL UP THE CASUAL VANCANCY IN THE OFFICE OF

CHAIRPERSON OF JAMMIKUNTA MUNICIPALITY IN KARIMNAGAR DISTRICT.

Lr.No.612/TSEC-ULBs/2018-5.– In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-ZA of Constitution

of India, Sections 10 A and 10 B read with Section 23 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965, (Act 6 of 1965) and

Rule 3, 4 and 8 of the Telangana Municipalities (Conduct of Election of chairperson and Vice-Chairperson) Rules,

2005, the State Election Commissioner, hereby directs the Collector and District Election Authority, Karimnagar

District to authorize a Gazetted Officer of the Government to conduct election to the casual vacancy in the office of

Chairperson, Jammikunta, Municipality in Karimnagar District in accordance with the procedure laid down

in the said Act and Rules and fixes the schedule for the said election in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub-section (2) of Section 5 of Telangana

Municipalities Act, 1965. (Duly indicating the note mentioned below)
