MARKETS ACT, 1966.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Telangana

(Agricultural Produce and Livestock) Markets Act, 1966 (Act 16 of 1966), the Government of Telangana, hereby

directs the Market Committee specified in column (3) of Annexure below to establish Markets at the place

specified in column (5) thereof for the purchase and sale of Agricultural Produce, Livestock and Products of

Livestock specified in Schedule-II to the notification issued in G .O.Ms.No. 2095, Food and Agriculture Department

Dated: 29.10.1968 and published at pages 1035-1039 of part-II of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No. 44, Dated:

07-11-1968 read with G.O.Ms.No. 286, A & C Dept., dated: 05-07-1994 and also other commodities added to

the said list from time to time.
