BIENNIAL ELECTIONS TO THE TELANGANA LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL BY THE MEMBERS OF THE
LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (BY MLAs) - DESIGNATES THE RO & APPOINTMENT OF ARO.

The following Notification of the Election Commission of India, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road,
New Delhi-110 001, Dated 19th February, 2019, Magha 30, 1940 (Saka) is published:-
NOTIFICATION
No. 322/TL-LC/2019(MLAs) (1) :– In pursuance of section 21, and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 22, of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951), the Election
Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of Telangana, hereby :-
(iii) designates the officer, specified in column (1) of the TABLE below, to be the Returning Officer, and :
(iv) appoints the officer, specified in column (2) of the said Table, to be the Assistant Returning Officer to
assist the Returning officer in the performance of his functions;
In respect of the biennial election to the Legislative Council of the State of Telangana, by the members of
Legislative Assembly of the State, to be held in pursuance of the Governor’s notification to be published in the
official Gazette of the State on 21st February, 2019:-
