ELECTIONS TO MUNICIPALITIES–MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONERS OF MUNICIPALITIES–

APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONERS OF MUNICIPALITIES AS ASSISTANT DISTRICT

ELECTION AUTHORITY.

No.1191/TSEC-ULBs/2019.– In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 243 K and 243 ZA of

the Constitution of India and sections 10 A and 10 B of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965, (Act 6 of 1965),

the State Election Commission, Telangana hereby, appoints the Commissioners of the Municipalities as the

Assistant District Election Authorities to exercise such powers and to perform such functions as may be

assigned to them by the Election Authority/ District Election Authority concerned to make necessary election/poll

arrangements and other logistics in connection with the conduct of elections to their Municipality.
