CONDUCT OF CASUAL ELECTIONS TO - WARD NO. 19 OF GREATER WARANGAL MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION - WARANGAL URBAN DISTRICT - AND WARD.NO. 31 OF KHAMMAM
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN KHAMMAM DISTRICT.
No. 1311/TSEC-ULBs/2019.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K and 243 -ZA of the
Constitution of India read with Sections 8 and 14 of Telangana Municipal Corporation Act,1994 and Sections
7(2), 9 , 10 and 24 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act,1955 (Act II of 1956), the State
Election Commission Telangana, hereby, calls upon the registered voters of Ward No. 19 of Greater Warangal
Municipal Corporation in Warangal (Urban) District and Ward No. 31 of Khammam Municipal
Corporation in Khammam District to elect the Members of the said Wards thereof, in a casual election, in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made there under.
WHEREAS, the State Election Commission has by its Notification in Ref. 131l/TSEC-ULBs/2019,
dated: 08.03.2019, called upon the registered voters of the Ward No. 19 of Greater Warangal Municipal
Corporation in Warangal Urban District and Ward No. 31 of Khammam Municipal Corporation to elect the
Ward Members thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of Section 8 and 14 of Telangana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 and
read with Section 33 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, the State Election Commission,
Telangana, hereby, appoints the following dates for the said casual elections:
