PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE SINGARENI COLLIERIES COMPANY

LIMITED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE TELANGANA ESSENTIAL SERVICES MAINTENANCE

ACT, 1971 (ACT 20 OF 1971) FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF (6) MONTHS w.e.f. 11.03.2019.

Whereas, orders were issued in G.O.Rt.No. 67, Energy Department, Date: 06.09.2018, declaring any service

in Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana State as an essential service under the provisions of the Telangana

Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (Act No. 20 of 1971).

And whereas, the Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public

interest in any services in SCCL Limited in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 11.03.2019.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana

Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in

all the services under the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for a further period of six (6) months with effect from

11.03.2019.
