NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST SRI MD. RAFIUDDIN, VICE CHAIRPERSON, KORUTLA

MUNICIPALITY - REMOVAL OF THE VICE CHAIRPERSON FROM OFFICE.

Whereas, a motion expressing no confidence against Sri Md. Rafiuddin, Vice Chairperson, Korutla

Municipality of Jagtial District was moved under Section 46 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965.

And whereas, in a meeting for the purpose of considering the above motion was held on 19.02.2019 at

11:00 AM.

And whereas, when the said motion was put to vote, it was supported by 23 ward members out of a total

number of 31 members and thus the motion was passed with requisite majority.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section 6 of Section 46 of Telangana

Municipalities Act, 1965; the Government hereby remove Sri Md. Rafiuddin, Vice Chairperson, Korutla

Municipality from office with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Telangana Gazette.
