DENTAL UN-AIDED NON-MINORITY PROFESSIONAL

INSTITUTIONS (ADMISSIONS INTO POST GRADUATE

MEDICAL / DENTAL COURSES) RULES, 2017.

the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to

Telangana State Private Medical / Dental Un-aided Non-Minority

Professional Institutions (Admissions into Post Graduate Medical / Dental

Courses) Rules, 2017 issued in the G.O.Ms.No. 40 HM & FW (C1) Dept.,

Dated: 09-05-2017:-

1. In Rule 3 under the head "Seat sharing and Admissions", after

sub-rule (vii) (c), the following shall be added:-

d) To maintain proper distribution of seats among various sub-

categories course wise (subject wise) in each institution, the

distribution of seats under Management Quota in sub-category 1,2,3

shall be by rotation as follows

i)

If there is one seat allotted to Management Quota it will be

allotted to Management Quota sub-category 1 in one year and

sub-category 2 / 3 next year by rotation.

Example:-

Year - I

Sub category 1

Year - II

Sub category 2 or Sub category 3

Year - III

Sub category 1

Year - IV

Sub category 3 (if allotted to Sub category 2 in Year - II (Or)

Sub category 2 (if allotted to Sub category 3 in Year - II)

(OR)

Year - I

Sub category 2 or Sub category 3

Year - II

Sub category 1

Year - III

Sub category 3 (if allotted to Sub category 2 in Year in

Year - II (Or) Sub category 2 (if allotted to Sub category 3

in year - II)

ii) If there are 2 seats allotted to Management Quota one seat will

be allotted to Management Quota sub-category - 1 and one seat

to Management Quota - 2 or 3 by rotation.

If the seat is allotted to Management Quota sub-category 2

in first year it will be allotted to Management Quota sub-category 3

in the next year or vice versa.

iii) If there are 3 seats allotteed to Management Quota one seat

will be allotted to Management Quota sub-category - 1 and one

seat to Management Quota sub-category -2 and one seat to

Management Quota sub-category 3.

iv) If there are 4 seats allotted to Management Quota two seats

will be allotted to Management Quota sub-category - 1 and

one seat to Management Quota sub-category - 2 and one seat to

Management Quota sub-category 3.

v) If there are 5 seats allotted to Management Quota two seats

will be allotted to Management Quota sub-category - 1 and two

seats to Management Quota sub-category - 2 and one seat to

Management Quota sub-category 3.

vi) If there are 6 seats allotted to Management Quota three seats

will be allotted to Management Quota sub-category - 1 and two

seats to Management Quota sub-category - 2 and one seat to

Management Quota sub-category - 3.

If there are more than 6 seats they will be distributed in the

ratio of 25: 15: 10 to Management Quota sub-category - 1,2,3

and seats may be rotated as per above ratio if necessary in subsequent

years.
