CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE TELANGANA STATE CHARITABLE AND HINDU RELIGIOUS
INSTITUTIONS AND ENDOWMENTS SERVICE RULES, 2002 - PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and by sub-
section (1) of Section 33 read with section 153 of the Telangana Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and
Endowments Act, 1987 (Act No.30 of 1987) the following amendment to the Telangana State Charitable and Hindu
Religious Institutions and Endowments Service Rules, 2002 issued in G.O.Ms.No.245, Revenue (Endowments.I)
Department, dated: 08.05.2002 are proposed to be made are hereby published for general information in the Telangana
Gazette as required under sub-section (1) of Section 153 of the said Act:-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
(i)
In Note 3 of Rule 3, under the heading Class-II, in Category (2) Deputy Executive Engineer, in
column 4, for item (ii), the following shall be substituted, namely;-
“(ii) By appointment by transfer of Assistant Engineer of the Department, possessing Diploma
Qualifications such as Licentiate in Civil Engineering (L.C.E.), Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering
(L.M.E.), Licentiate in Architectural Assistance ship (L.A.A.) and who have put in service of not
less than 3 years in the cadre of Assistant Engineer in the Department.”;
(ii)
In the Annexure to Rule-5, under Class-II, at Sl.No.2 in column (4) Qualifications, the following shall
be substituted, namely;-
“One must possess a Diploma Qualification such as Licentiate in Civil Engineering (L.C.E.), Licentiate
in Mechanical Engineering (L.M.E.), Licentitate in Architectural Assistance ship (L.A.A.)”
