TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF XXI ADDITIONAL CHIEF METROPOLITAN MAGISTRATE,

HYDERABAD OVER ENTIRE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR TRIAL OF NON-PREVENTION OF

CORRUPTION (PC) ACT CASES INVESTIGATED BY CBI.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to the sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), and in supersession of the orders issued vide G.O.Rt.No. 167,

Law (LA, LA&J-Home-Courts-A2) Department, dated: 06-04-2018, the Government of Telangana after consultation

with the High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, hereby specifies the Court of XXI Additional Chief

Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad as the Court of Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class also for trial of

Central Bureau of Investigation cases and local area of the Jurisdiction of the above said Court for this purpose shall

be over all the Sessions Divisions of entire State of Telangana.

RE-DEFINING THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE SPECIAL COURTS FOR CBI CASES AT

HYDERABAD.

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption

Act, 1988 (Central Act 49 of 1988), and in partial modification of the earlier Notifications issued in G.O.Ms.No. 88,

Law (LA&J-Home-Courts-C) Department, dated: 07-08-2012, published in the A.P. Gazette Part-I, Extraordinary,

No. 470, dt: 24-8-2012, the Government of Telangana, hereby specify that the Special Courts for CBI cases constituted

at Hyderabad for trying the Central Bureau of Investigation cases, mentioned in Column (2) of the table below shall

have and exercise territorial jurisdiction over the Revenue Districts shown in Column (3) thereof, under the said Act.
