PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES IN NATIONAL THERMAL POWER CORPORATION
LIMITED IN TELANGANA STATE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE TELANGANA ESSENTIAL
SERVICES MAINTENANCE ACT, 1971 (ACT 20 OF 1971) FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF (6) MONTHS
W.e.f. 21.07.2019.

Whereas, orders were issued in the G.O.Rt.No.03, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date: 21.01.2019, declaring
any service in National Thermal Power Corporation Limited in Telangana State as an essential service under the
provisions of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No.20 of 1971).
And whereas, the Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest
in any services in NTPC Limited in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 21.07.2019;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana
Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in all
the services under the NTPC Limited for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 21.07.2019.
PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TRANSMISSION CORPORATION OF
TELANGANA LIMITED AND TWO DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES (i.e. TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL)
FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS WITH EFFECT FROM 25-08-2019.

Whereas, orders were issued in the G.O.Rt.No.11, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date: 21.02.2019, declaring
that any service under the Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies as an
essential service as defined in sub clause (v) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Telangana Essential
Service Maintenance Act, 1971, (Act No.20 of 1971).
And whereas, the Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public
interest, in all services under Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies for a
further period of six (6) months w.e.f 25-08-2019.

Whereas, orders were issued in the G.O.Rt.No.4, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date:25.01.2019, declaring
any services in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited as an essential service under the provisions
of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No.20 of 1971).
And whereas, the Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public
interest, in all services under Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited for a further period of six (6)
months w.e.f 27-07-2019.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana
Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes
in all the services under Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited for a period of six (6) months with
effect from 27.07.2019.
PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE SINGARENI COLLIERIES COMPANY
LIMITED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE TELANGANA ESSENTIAL SERVICES
MAINTENANCE ACT, 1971 (ACT 20 OF 1971) FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS
WITH EFFECT FROM 11-09-2019.

Whereas, orders were issued in the G.O.Rt.No.16, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date:07.08.2019, declaring
any service in Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana State as an essential service under the provisions
of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (Act No.20 of 1971).
And whereas, the Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest
in any services in SCCL Limited in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f 11.09.2019.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of section 3 of the Telangana
Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes
in all the services under the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for a further period of six (6) months with effect
from 11.09.2019.
