ADDITION OF EMPLOYMENT OF “PLASTIC INDUSTRY” TO PART-I TO THE SCHEDULE OF

THE MINIMUM WAGES ACT, 1948 - PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 27 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948

(Central Act 11 of 1948), it is proposed to add the “Plastic Industry” as entry “73”, in Part-I of the

Schedule to the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, after the existing entry “72”, in its application to the State of

Telangana.

As required under section 27 of the aforesaid Act, notice is hereby given to all the persons likely to

be affected thereby, that any objections or suggestions with respect to the proposed addition of the entry

in the Schedule will be taken into consideration up to three months from the date of publication of this

notification in the Telangana Gazette.

The objections / suggestions should be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Telangana,

Labour, Employment, Training and Factories Department, through the Commissioner of Labour, Telangana,

Hyderabad.
