SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME FOR TRANSPORT & NON-TRANSPORT AUTO DRIVERS, HOME

GUARDS, WORKING JOURNALISTS OF THE TELANGANA STATE - FURTHER EXTENDED FOR

ONE (1) MORE YEAR BEYOND 21-09-2019.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3 (4) of the Unorganized Workers’ Social Security Act,

2008 (Central Act No. 33 of 2008), the Governor of Telangana hereby order for further extension of the implementation

of the Social Security Scheme for “Transport & Non-Transport Auto Drivers / Home Guards / Working Journalists”

in Telangana State with a coverage of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs only) Accidental Death Insurance issued in

G.O.Ms.No.20, LET&F (Lab) Department, Dated: 23.06.2015 read with G.O.Ms.No.24, LET&F (Lab) Department,

Dated: 25.07.2015, G.O.Ms.No.32, LET&F (Labour) Department, dated 23.08.2017 read with G.O.Ms.No.17, LET&F

(Labour) Department, Dated: 31.03.2018 and G.O.Ms.No.41, LET&F (Labour) Department, Dated 06.09.2018 by

one (1) more year beyond 21.09.2019. The entire cost of premium for Rs. 5,00,000/- Accidental Death Insurance

for beneficiaries covered under the scheme shall be paid by the State Government.
