ELECTIONS TO GHMC-REVISED PART - II, RESULT OF INITIAL COUNTING OF BALLOT PAPER ACCOUNT

( WHERE BALLOT BOXES ARE USED FORM-XXI ) AND XXX-A ( FINAL RESULT SHEET ).

No.2867/TSEC-ULBs/2019:- WHEREAS, certain forms were prescribed under Telangana Municipal

Corporations (Conduct of Election of Members, Election expenses and Election Petitions) Rules, 2005 issued in

G.O.Ms. No.713, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (Ele.II) dated: 21.07.2005, being used in connection

with Elections to the Office of Member of GHMC.

AND WHEREAS, Part-II of FORM-XXI (Ballot Paper Account) and FORM-XXX-Final Result Sheet

prescribed under the aforesaid Rules for the purpose of recording of votes is meant for the poll when the poll is

conducted using the EVMs. No specific Forms are prescribed for the purpose of recording of votes when Ballot

Papers and Ballot Boxes are used and necessitated to issue separate Forms.

NOW THEREFORE, in Exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K and 243-ZA of the Constitution of

India read with Section 9 and Section 10 of GHMC, Act,1955, the State Election Commission, hereby, prescribes

Part-II of “Form-XXI” (Ballot Paper Account) to be used for recording polling station wise No. of ballot papers

found in ballot boxes and Tendered Ballot Papers during initial counting and “Form-XXX-A”, FINAL RESULT

SHEET for posting the round-wise, candidate wise votes polled when counting of votes is done by mixing votes where

ballot boxes and ballot papers are used in conduct of poll.
