CANCELLATION OF ABEYANCE ORDERS IMPOSED ON THE TELANGANA ONIONS

DEALERS (LICENSING, STORAGE AND REGULATION) ORDER'S 2016 - AMENDMENT

TO "REGULATION - 9 i.e., RESTRICTION ON POSSESSION OF ONIONS".

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Central Act 10 of

1955) read with the provisions of the Removal of (Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions)

on Specified Foodstuffs Amendment Order' 2016, and as per the instructions of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs,

Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, vide letters dated 27.11.2019 and 9.12.2019, Government of

Telangana hereby cancel the abeyance orders issued vide G.O.Ms.No. 16, CAF&CS (CS-I) Dept., dt. 2.4.2016 and

made the following amendment to the Telangana Onions Dealers (Licensing, Storage & Regulation) Order' 2016

issued in G.O.Ms.No. 10, CAF&CS (CS-I) Dept., dt. 4.3.2016.

AMENDMENT

In "Regulation - 9 i.e., Restriction on possession of Onions" of the Telangna Onions Dealers (Licensing,

Storage and Regulation) Order, 2016, for existing items a), b) and c) substituted with the following, namely;
