RE-NOTIFICATION THE (9) EXISTING FAST TRACK COURTS WHICH WERE DE-NOTIFIED

FROM DEALING WITH TRIAL AND DISPOSAL OF CASES UNDER POCSO ACT, 2012.

In partial modification of the orders issued in the G.O.Rt.No.193, Law (LA, LA&J-Home-Courts.C)

Department, dated : 11-02-2020 as published in the Telangana Gazette Part-I Extraordinary No.39,

dt.12-2-2020 and in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (1) of Section 28 of “The Protection

of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Act 32 of 2012)”, the Government of Telangana, in consultation with

the High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, hereby re-notifies the Fast Track Courts, which were

earlier notified vide G.O.Rt.No.542, Law (LA, LA&J-Home-Courts.A2) Department, dated 26-9-2019

as the Special Courts for trial of POCSO Act cases and the said Fast Track Courts shall continue to function as the

Special Courts for trial of POCSO Act cases, with effect from 11-02-2020, till the 36 Fast Track Special Courts

(which are sanctioned vide G.O.Ms.No.58, Law (LA, LA&J-Home-Courts.A2) Deptt., dated 19-12-2019 and

G.O.Ms.No.104, Finance (HRM-II) Department, Dt.30-12-2019) start functioning, in addition to the Courts

already notified in G.O.Rt.No.630, Law (LA&J-Home-Courts.C) Department, dated 23-03-2013, as published

in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Part-I Extraordinary Notification No.242, dated:01-4- 2013, filed under the

“Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Act 32 of 2012)” for trial of POCSO Act cases, arising

from the respective Sessions Divisions, along with the other criminal/rape cases, as are made over by the respective

Sessions Judges.

The Registrar (Administration), High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, shall take necessary

further action in the matter accordingly.
