AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA FIRE AND EMERGENCY
OPERATIONS AND LEVY OF FEE RULES, 2006.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section-47
of the Telangana Fire Services Act, 1999 (Telangana Act No. 15 of 1999)
the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendments to the
Telangana Fire & Emergency Operations and Levy of Fee Rules, 2006 issued
in G.O.Ms.No.306, Home (Prisons. A) Department, Dated:7-12-2006 and as
amended from time to time.

AMENDMENT
In the Said Rule:-
(1) In Rule :-19 after sub-rule (8) the following rule shall be added, namely,
"9 (a)
License may be granted by the Authorised Officer in Form
No. 6-A for Amendment of Fire Service License.
(b) A license may be granted by the Authorised Officer in Form
No. 6-B for Death or Disability or Insolvency of Fire Service
License.
(c) A license may be granted by the Authorised Officer in Form
No. 6-C for Duplicate fire service license.
(d) A License may be granted by the Authorised Officer in Form
No. 8-A for renewal of Fire Service, License”.
(2) In Rule :- 20 after sub-rule (3) the following rule shall be added,
namely,
"(4)A licensee shall get his license amended when there is a change
in the name of the premises or ownership or in the limits specified
in the licence in regard to’the nature and quantity of hazardous
materials to be handled when he submits an application in
prescribed proforma of Form - 5A.
(3) In Rule 22,
(a) as the existing paragraph shall be numbered as sub-rule (1)
(b) after the existing para, so re-numbered as sub-rule (1) the following
sub-rule shall be added namely;-
“(2) If a licensee dies or becomes insolvent, the persons carrying on
the business of such license shall submit an application for
amendment in prescribed proforma of Form-5B’’
(4) In Rule 23,
(a) the existing paragraph shall be numbered as sub-rule (1)
(b) after the existing para so re-numbered as sub-rule (1) the following
sub-rule shall be added namely;
“(2) where a license granted or renewed under these rules is lost or
accidentally destroyed, a duplicate may be granted by the authorized
officer on submission of application in prescribed proforma of
Form-5C”.
