PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TELANGANA STATE POWER

GENERATION CORPORATION LIMITED FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS

WITH EFFECT FROM 27-01-2021 .

In G .O. Rt. No. 49, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date:22-07-2020, Government have extended

prohibition of strikes in public interest in any services in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited

as an essential service under the provisions of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971,

( A.P. Act No. 20 of 1971) for a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 27-07-2020.

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Power Generation

Corporation Limited and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary

and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest in any services in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation

Limited for a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 27-01-2021.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of section 3 of the

Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby

prohibits strikes in all the services under Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited for a period of

six (6) months with effect from 27-01-2021.
