ORDINARY / CASUAL ELECTIONS TO GREATER WARANGAL MUNICIPAL CORPORATION,
KHAMMAM MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ATCHAMPET, SIDDIPET, NAKREKAL, JADCERLA,
KOTHUR, GAJWEL, NALGONDA, JALPALLY, ALAMPUR, BODHAN, PARKAL, METPALLY
AND BELLAMPALLY MUNICIPALITIES, 2021 AND CASUAL ELECTIONS TO WARD NO. 18,
LINGOJIGUDA, GHMC - DECLARED PAID HOLIDAY ON THE DAY OF POLLING UNDER THE
TELANGANA FACTORIES AND ESTABLISHMENTS (NATIONAL, FESTIVAL AND OTHER
HOLIDAYS) ACT, 1974 (ACT No. 32/1974) AND THE TELANGANA SHOPS AND
ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 1988 (Act No. 20/1988).

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Telangana Factories and
Establishments (National, Festival and Other Holidays) Act, 1974 ( Act No. 32/1974) and sub-section (2) of Section
31 of the Telangana Shops & Establishments Act, 1988 (Act No. 20/1988), Government of Telangana hereby declare
paid holiday to all the employees / workers working in the Factories, Shops & Establishments and Industrial Undertakings
/ Establishments located in the areas notified for elections by the Telangana State Election Commission vide Notification
No. 257/TSEC-ULBs/2021, Dated: 15-04-2021, and Notification No. 263/TSEC-ULBs-GHMC/2021-1, Dated:
15.04.2021 so as to enable the electorate to exercise their vote on the day of polling for the ordinary / casual elections
to the Municipalities and Municipal Corporations, as the case may be, if there is no holiday.
The Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, Hyderabad and the Director of Factories, Telangana, Hyderabad
shall take further necessary action, accordingly.
