PROHIBITION OF STRIKE IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TRANSMISSION CORPORATION OF
TELANGANA LIMITED AND TWO DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES (i.e. TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL)
FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS WITH EFFECT FROM 25-08-2021.

In G.O.Rt.No. 17, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Date. 04-02-2021, Government have extended prohibition
of strikes in public interest in all services in Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution
Companies (i.e TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) in Telangana State under the provisions of the Telangana Essential
Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (A.P. Act No. 20 of 1971), for a period of six (6) months with effect from
25-02-2021.
In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Transmission Corporation of Telangana
Limited and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to
prohibit strikes in public interest in any services in Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution
Companies (i.e. TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) in Telangana State for a further period of six (6) months with effect from
25-08-2021.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana
Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in
all the services under the Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Two Distribution Companies
(i.e. TSNPDCL & TSSPDCL) for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 25-08-2021.
