PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE SINGARENI COLLIERIES COMPANY

LIMITED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE TELANGANA ESSENTIAL SERVICES

MAINTENANCE ACT, 1971 (ACT 20 OF 1971), FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS

w.e.f. 11-09-2021.

In G.O.Rt.No.21, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Dated: 18-03-2021, Government have extended prohibition

of strikes in public interest in all services in Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana State under the

provisions of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (A.P. Act No. 20 of 1971), for a period of

six (6) months w.e.f. 11-03-2021.

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Singareni Collieries Company Limited

and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit

strikes in public interest in any services in Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana State for a further

period of six (6) months w.e.f. 11-09-2021.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana

Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in

all the services under the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for a further period of six (6) months with effect

from 11-09-2021.
