THE TELANGANA AGRICULTURAL LAND (CONVERSION FOR NON-AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES)

ACT, 2006 ( ACT No. 3 of 2006) - PRESCRIBING THE RATES OF CONVERSION TAX.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Telangana Agricultural Land (Conversion for

Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006 (Act No.3 of 2006), the Government of Telangana hereby prescribe the

following rates of conversion tax for conversion of Agricultural Land to Non-Agricultural purposes, in supersession

of the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.149, Revenue (Land Matters) Department, dated : 16-12-2020 :-

1. 3% of the basic value of the land in the areas covered under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

2. 5% of the basic value of the land in the areas other than the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
