PROHIBITION OF STRIKES IN ALL SERVICES UNDER THE TELANGANA STATE POWER

GENERATION CORPORATION LIMITED FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS WITH

EFFECT FROM 27.01.2022.

In G.O.Rt.No. 36, Energy (HR.A1) Department, Dated: 30-06-2021, Government have extended prohibition

of strikes in public interest in any services in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited as on Essential

Services under the provisions of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No. 20 of

1971), for a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 27-07-2021.

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Power Generation

Corporation Limited and after careful consideration of the matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and

expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest in any services in Telangana State Power Generation Corporation

Limited for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 27.01.2022.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of Section 3 of the Telangana

Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Telangana hereby prohibits strikes

in all the services under Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited for a period of six (6) months with

effect from 27.01.2022.
