TELANGANA MOTOR VEHICLES TAXATION ACT, 1963 - LIFE TAX EXEMPTION FOR AUTOMATIC

TRANSMISSION VEHICLES OWNED AND DRIVEN BY PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSONS

WITH LEFT LEG DISABILITY - AMENDMENT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Telangana Motor Vehicles

Taxation Act, 1963 (Act 5 of 1963), the Governor of Telangana, hereby makes the following amendment to the

Notification issued in G.O.Ms.No. 351, Transport, Roads & Buildings (Tr-II) Department, Dt.29-08-1978:-

AMENDMENT

In the first paragraph of the Notification issued in the said G.O., after the word “repairs”, the following shall

be added:

“and grants exemption of the life tax payable under the said act in respect of all motorized vehicles other than

transport vehicles with automatic transmission owned by physically challenged persons with left leg disability

only, so long as they are driven exclusively by such persons”.
