INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO VICE-PRESIDENT OF JAKRANPALLY MPP IN NIZAMABAD DISTRICT.

No. 482/ TSEC-PR/2021-10 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K of the Constitution

of India and Sections 196 and 197 of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act 5 of 2018), and Rule 13 (1) of

Telangana Conduct of election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishad

and Co-opted Members, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2018 issued in

G.O.Ms.No. 27, PR & RD (PTS.III) Dept., dtd : 19-05-2018, the State Election Commissioner, Telangana,

hereby, directs the Collector and District Election Authority, Nizamabad district to authorise a Gazetted

Officer of the Government to conduct election to the casual vacancy of Vice - President of Jakranpally

Mandal Praja Parishad in Nizamabad district in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said rules

and specifies the schedule for the election to the said offices in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

NOTE : In the event of a vacancy in the office of an elected member of Mandal Praja Parishad occurs

for any reason after the issue of Vice-President, Mandal Praja Parishad casual election notification

by the State Election Commission, the election to the office of Vice-President shall not stalled and

shall be conducted as per the schedule.

of Jakranpally MPP in Nizamabad district)

Notice to be given in Form-V by the Gazetted Officer authorised by the District

Collector, Nizamabad district calling for a special meeting for election to the

casual vacancy in the office of Vice-President of Jakranpally Mandal

Praja Parishad in Nizamabad District. (This notice should be given to the

members specified in clauses (i) to (v) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 143 of

TPR Act, 2018 atleast three clear days in advance of the date of the meeting

fixed for the said election)

Date and Time of the meeting for the election of Vice-President of

Jakranpally Mandal Praja Parishad in Nizamabad District.
