FIXATION OF MAXIMUM SPEED IN RESPECT OF THE CLASS OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN GREATER

HYDERABAD MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AREA.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 112 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central

Act No. 59 of 1988), the Government of Telangana hereby fixes the maximum speed in respect of the class of

Motor Vehicles in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area as specified in the table below in the interest of

public safety or convenience or because of nature of any road or bridge is as follows:

Nothing in this section shall apply to any vehicle registered under section 60 while it is being used in the

execution of military manoeuvres within the area and during the period specified in the notification under sub-section

(1) of section 2 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act No. 5 of 1938).
