APPOINTMENT OF THE COMMISSIONER OF FOOD SAFETY, AS PER SECTION 30 OF FOOD

SAFETY AND STANDARDS ACT 2006 READ WITH RULE 2.1.1 OF THE FOOD SAFETY

AND STANDARDS RULES, 2011.

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 30 of the Food Safety and Standards

Act, 2006 (Central Act No.34 of 2006) read with Rule 2.1.1 of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011, the

Government hereby notify Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare, Hyderabad as Commissioner of Food Safety

for the State of Telangana to exercise the powers and perform the functions under the Food Safety and Standards

Act, 2006 and the Rules 2011 & Regulations 2011 made thereunder with immediate effect.
