The state committee on Dam Safety and State Dam Safety Organization constituted as above will have to
ensure action in a time bound manner as per the provisions contained in the Dam Safety Act, 2021 notified by the
Government of India.
The personnel for the posts in State Dam Safety Organization various cadres shall be drafted by the Engineer-
in-Chief (Admin), Irrigation & CAD Dept., on OD basis and their pay and allowances shall be drawn against the
posts of their original postings. The existing Division of Central Designs Organisation which is incharge of Dam
Safety subject would be co-opted into the SDSO to take up the activities required.
The Engineer-in-Chief (General), / Engineer-in-Chief (Admin) Irrigation & CAD Department, Hyderabad shall
take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
