AMENDMENT TO SERVICE RULES OF THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA - 2019.
Roc.No. 5544/17-2022-Estt:- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of
India and all other powers hereunto enabling the Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana hereby makes
the following amendments to the Service Rules of the High Court for the State of Telangana - 2019.
The amendments shall come into force from the date of publication in the Telangana Gazette.
Amendment-I
Under Category-4 of Division - III (Miscellaneous Posts) of Rule 3 in the Service Rules of the High Court
for the State of Telangana - 2019, after the word i.e., Jamedar is clause (a), the following shall be inserted
as clauses (b) to (e):
Category-4:
(b) Electrician
(c) Plumber
(d) Carpenter
(e) Tailor
Under Category-5 of Division - III (Miscellaneous Posts) of Rule 3 in the Service Rules of the High Court
for the State of Telangana - 2019, after the word i.e., Daffedars is clause (i) (a), the following shall be
inserted as clause (i) (b):
Category-5 (i) (b) Cook
Under Caregory-5 of Division - III (Miscellaneous Posts) of Rule 3 in the Service Rules of the High Court
for the State of Telangana-2019, after the word i.e., Office Subordinates is clause (ii) (a), the following shall
be inserted as clause (ii) (b):
Category-5 (ii) (b) Dhobi”
Amendment-II
The posts of ‘Electrician’, ‘Plumber’, ‘Carpenter’, ‘Tailor’, ‘Cook’ and ‘Dhobi’ and the method of recruitment
to the said posts shall be inserted as clauses (b) to (g), after the clause (a), to the category i.e., Any post, under
Division - III of Rule 5 in the Service Rules of the High Court for the State of Telangana-2019.

(c) Plumber:

Amendment-III
After sub-Rule (6) of Rule 8, the following new sub-rules shall be inserted:
7) For Electrician:
(i) Must have studied upto S.S.C., or any equivalent examination; and
(ii) Must possess ITI Diploma issued by the any ITI in the State or any its equivalent
qualification.
8) For Carpenter:
Must possess a trade certificate in carpentry trade issued by any ITI in the State, Preferably
3 years experience.
Or
Its equivalent qualification, with 3 years experience.
9) For Tailor:
Must possess a trade certificate in Tailoring trade issued by any ITI in the State, preferably
3 years experience.
Or
Its equivalent qualification with 3 years experience.
10) For Dhobi:
Must have studied upto VII Class and must have three (3) years experience as a
washerman.
11) For Cook:
Must have studied upto VII Class
and
Must have three (3) years experience in cooking in a reputed Hotel or Boarding House of
a like Institution.
Or
Must have three (3) months training in cooking in a reputed Hotel or Boarding or a like
Institution.
12) For Plumber:
Must have studied upto VII Class and must have worked as professional Plumber for
atleast five years and must be cetified as fit for the post after a test either in the Technical
College Centre, Hyderabad or a similar recognized Institution.
Amendment-IV
After Category-5 of the Schedule-I appended to the Service Rules of the High Court for the State of Telangana-
2019, the following shall be inserted before ‘Note’:-
Electrician:
(i) Must have studied upto S.S.C., or any equivalent examination;
And
(ii) Must possess ITI Diploma issued by the any ITI in the State or any its equilvalent qualification.

Carpenter: Must possess a trade certification in carpentry trade issued by any ITI in the State, preferably 3 years
experience.
Or
Its equivalent qualification, with 3 years experience.
Tailor:
Must possess a trade certificate in Tailoring trade issued by any ITI in the State, Preferably 3 years
experience.
Or
Its equivalent qualification, with 3 years experience.
Dhobi:
Must have studied upto VII Class and must have three (3) years experience as a washerman.
Cook:
Must have studied upto VII Class
and
Must have three (3) years experience in cooking in a reputed Hotel or Boarding House of a like Institution.
Or
Must have three (3) months training in cooking in a reputed Hotel or Boarding or a like Institution.
Plumber:
Must have studied upto VII Class and must have woried as professional Plumber for atleast five years
and must be cetified as fit for the post after a test either in the Technical College Centre, Hyderabad or
a similar recognized Institution.
Amendment - V
The following shall be inserted as Clause (c) after clause (b) in Category-5 of Division - II (Non-Gazetted) in
Rule 3 of the Service Rules of the High Court for the State of Telangana-2019:
Category-5: (c) System Assistants
Amendment - VI
The following shall be inserted as clause (c) after clause (b) in Category-5 of Division-II of Rule 5.
(c) System Assistants:
By Direct Recruitment
Or
By transfer from any other service.
Amendment - VII
The following shall be inserted as category-3 (e), after Category 3 (d) of Division-II of Schedule-I Special
Qualifications under Rule 8 in the Services Rules for the High Court for the State of Telangana-2019:
“B.Tech {CSE/IT/ECE} / Diploma in Electronics / B.Sc. (Electronics), (Computers), IT with minimum 55%.
Exposure towards Computer Hardware, Networking and Operating System Softwares.”
