RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE TO THE POST OF DEPUTY JAILOR (MEN), DEPUTY JAILOR (WOMEN),

WARDER (MALE) AND WARDER (FEMALE)-AMENDMENT TO THE RECRUITMENT

PROCEDURE.

In the circumstances reported by the Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services Government

hereby make the following amendment to the recruitment procedure for Prison Department issued vide

G.O.Ms.No. 303, Home (Pri.A) Dept, dated 20-12-2007 as amended from time to time vide G.O.Ms.No. 62, Home

(Pri.A) Dept, dated 23-02-2013 and G.O.Ms.No. 17, Home (Legal) Dept, dated 22-04-2022.

The amendment shall be deemed to have been come into force w.e.f. 22-04-2022.

AMENDMENTS

1.

In the said recruitment procedure, for Deputy Jailor (Men), for the notice (1) under 1(a), substitute the

following note:-

“Note: 1) The minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test

paper is 30% for OCs, 25% for BCs and 20% for SCs /STs/ Ex-Servicemen”.

In the said recruitment procedure, for Deputy Jailor (Women) for the note(1) under II(a) substitute the following

note:-

In the said recruitment procedure, for Warder (Male), for the note (1) under III(a), substitute following note:-

“Note: 1) The Minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test

paper is 30% for OCs, 25% for BCs and 20% for SCs / STs / Ex-Servicemen.

In the said recruitment procedure, for Warder (Female), for the note (1) under IV(a) substitute the following

note:-

“Note: 1) The minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test

paper is 30% for OCs, 25% for BCs and 20% for SCs /STs / Ex-Servicemen.
