AMENDMENTS TO THE TELANGANA LOKAYUKTA AND UPA-LOKAYUKTA (CONDITIONS OF

SERVICE) RULES, 1987.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 20

of the Telangana Lokayukta Act, 1983 (Telangana Act No. 11 of 1983), the Governor of Telangana hereby makes

the following amendments to the Telangana Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1987

issued in G.O.Ms.No. 557, General Administration (SC.D) Department, dated: 23-11-1987 read with G.O.Ms.No. 184,

General Administration (Spl.C) Department dated: 19-04-2010, as subsequently amended from time to time.

These amendments shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st January, 2016.

AMENDMENTS

In the said rules, in rule 6:-

a.

in sub-rule (1), for the expression "Rs. 43, 890/- (Rupees forty three thousand eight hundred and ninety

only) per annum" the expression, " Rs. 1,21,575/- (Rupees one lakh twenty one thousand five hundred

and seventy five only) per annum" and for the expression "Rs. 2,19,450/-" the expression "Rs. 6,07,875/_"

(Rupees six lakh seven thousand eight hundred and seventy five only)" shall be substituted;

b.

in sub-rule (2) for the expression, "Rs. 34,350/- (Rupees thirty four thousand three hundred and fifty

only) per annum", the expression," Rs. 96,524/- (Rupees Ninty-six thousand five hundred and twenty

four only) per annum" and for the expression "Rs. 1,71,750/-" the expression "Rs. 4,82,620/- (Rupeees

four lakh eighty two thousand six hundred and twenty only)" shall be substituted.
