INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO THE POST OF UPA-SARPANCHES OF NAGULAMALYALA GRAM

PANCHAYAT OF KOTHAPALLI MANDAL (ii) RANGARAOPALLI GRAM PANCHAYAT OF

GANGADHARA MANDAL IN KARIMNAGAR.

No. 21/ TSEC-PR/2022-11:- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 196 and 197 and Sub-

section (9) of Section 15 of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 and read with second and third provisos of

Rule 3 (1) and 7 of Telangana Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Elections to Upa-Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat)

Rules, 2018, the State Election Commissioner, Telangana hereby, directs the District Panchayat Officer of

Karimnagar District to authorize a person who shall be not below the rank of Revenue Inspector to conduct

election to the casual vacancy in the office of Upa-Sarpanch of (i) Nagulamalyala Gram Panchayat

of Kothapalli Mandal (ii) Rangaraopalli Garm Panchayat of Gangadhara Mandal in Karimnagar

District in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said rules and specifies the schedule for the

casual election to the said office in Annexure appended to this Notification.

NOTE : If any casual vacancy in the office of member of (i) Nagulamalyala Gram Panchayat of Kothapalli

Mandal (ii) Rangaraopalli Gram Panchayat of Gangadhara Mandal in Karimnagar is occurred before issue of this

Notification, Upa-Sarpanch election in (i) Nagulamlyala Gram Panchayat, (ii) Rangaraopalli Gram Panchayat

should not be conducted and report the matter immediately to the State Election Commission for further orders.

If any such casual vacancy occurs after issue of this notification Upa-Sarpanch election shall not be stalled and

election shall be conducted as per schedule.

Officer of Karimnagar district calling for a meeting for election to the office of

Upa-Sarpanch of (i) Nagulamalyala Gram Panchayat (ii) Rangaraoplli

Gram Panchayat. (This notice should be given to the Sarpanch and Ward

Members of all Wards of the Gram Panchayat concerned atleast three clear

days prior to the day of the meeting fixed for the said election)
