INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO THE OFFICE OF CHAIRPERSON OF ZPP NAGARKURNOOL.

No.1182/TSEC-PR/2022.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K of the Constitution

of India and Sections 196 and 197 of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act No. 5 of 2018), and Rule 24 (1)

of rules relating to Conduct of election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice-President of Mandal Praja

Parishad and Co-opted Members, Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2018

issued in G.O. Ms. No. 27, PR & RD (PTS.III) Dept., dtd: 19.05.2018, the State Election Commissioner,

Telangana, hereby, directs the District Collector and District Election Authority, Nagarkurnool District to

conduct election to the casual vacancy in the office of Chairperson of ZPP Nagarkurnool in accordance

with the procedure laid down in the said rules and specifies the schedule for the election to the said office in the

Annexure appended to this Notification.

NOTE: In the event of a vacancy in the office of an elected member of Zilla Praja Parishad occurs for

any reason after the issue of Chairperson, Zilla Praja Parishad casual election notification by the State

Election Commission, the election to the office of Chairperson shall not stalled and shall be conducted

as per the schedule.

TPR Act, 2018 atleast three clear days in advance of the date of

the meeting fixed for the said election)
