INDIRECT ELECTIONS TO VICE - PRESIDENT OF NAGIREDDYPET MPP IN KAMAREDDY DISTRICT.

No.671/TSEC-PR/2024,- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K of the Constitution of India

and Sections 196 and 197 of Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act 5 of 2018), and Rule 13 of Telangana

Conduct of election of Co-opted Member, President and Vice-President of Mandal Praja Parishad and Co-opted

Members, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2018 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 27, PR &

RD (PTS.III) Department, dt: 19.05.2018 as amended vide G.O.Ms.No. 11, PR & RD (MPP & ZPP ADMN)

Department, dt. 15.02.2024, the State Election Commissioner, Telangana, hereby directs the Collector and District

Election Authority of Kamareddy district to authorise a Gazetted Officer of the Government to conduct

election to the casual vacancy in the office of Vice - President of Nagireddypet Mandal Praja Parishad in

Kamareddy District in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said rules and specifies the schedule for

the election to the said offices in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

District Collector, Kamareddy district calling for a special meeting for

election to the casual vacancies in the office of Vice - President of

Nagireddypet MPP in Kamareddy district. (This notice should be given

to the members specified in clauses (i) to (v) of Sub-Section (1) of Section

143 of TPR Act, 2018 in advance of the date of the meeting fixed for the

said election)
