THE TELANGANA POLICE (CIVIL) SERVICE RULES, 1998 - EXEMPTION FROM THE COMPULSORY

DEPUTATION TENURE FOR THE PANEL YEAR 2024-25 IN RESPECT OF SUB-INSPECTORS OF

POLICE (CIVIL) AND INSPECTORS OF POLICE (CIVIL) - ADHOC RULE.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following ad-hoc rule, subject to outcome of court cases

pending if any :-

ADHOC RULE

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Telangana Police (Civil) Service Rules, 1998 issued in

G.O.Ms.No.137, Home (Pol.E) Department, dt.01.06.1998 and as amended from time to time, the deputation

tenure specified in the proviso, to item, (b), of rule 6, shall be exempted for the promotions in respect of

Sub-Inspectors of Police and Inspectors of Police for the panel year 2024-2025 only.
