In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the
Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no.
1736/LXXVII-3–2022-57(M)-2020, dated December 22, 2022 :

WHEREAS preliminary notification no. 977/LXXVII-3–2022-57(M)-2020, dated July 21, 2022
was issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in
Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to
as the said Act), in respect of total 6.8965 Hectares of land in the Village Anantpur-0.0330 Hect.,
Mahadevpur 0.0329 Hect., Katwa Rasoolpur 0.1975 Hect., Maniyarpur 0.0567 Hect., Akbelpur Mu.
Gorharpur 0.6695 Hect., Haidarpur Khas 0.1901 Hect., Akbelpur Mu. Haidarpur 1.0758 Hect., Gadanpur
1.0244 Hect., Kukuripur Mu. Chatturpur 1.5151 Hect., Goiji Jamin Goiji 0.0878 Hect., Pranpur 0.0216
Hect., Jogipur 0.0816 Hect., Rasoolpur 0.3130 Hect., Ganpatpur 0.1063 Hect., Rampur Mu. Ganpatpur
0.0010 Hect., Manshapatti 0.0437 Hect., Somapur 0.1610 Hect., Nandana 0.0107 Hect., Shekhpur Mu
Chatturpur 0.6505 Hect., Gorthani 0.0980 Hect., Mandohi 0.0800 Hect., Jamin Nandana 0.0063 Hect. and
Bhorajpur Kala 0.4400 Hect., Tehsil- Burhanpur district Azamgarh. The Deputy Collector/Assistant
Collector Azamgarh was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of Rehabilitiation and Resettlement of
the project affected families;
NOW, THEREFORE, after considering the report of the Collector submitted in pursuance to
provision under sub-section (2) of section 15 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under
sub-section (1) of section 19 of the said Act that he is satisfied that the area of the land mentioned in
the Schedule “A” below is needed for public purpose and no land in the Village, Pargana and District as
given in Schedule “B” has been identified for Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the displaced families
(No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for this project).
The Governor is further pleased under sub-section (2) of section 19 of the said Act to
direct the Collector to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication
of the declaration to this effect. The summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement scheme is attached
herewith. (No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for Gorakhpur Link Expressway
Project in district Azamgarh. Hence there is no need for identification of any land for Rehabilitation and
Resettlement and publication of summary of Rehabilation and Resettlement Scheme.)
