Order

No. 8/9/2014-MAG/BAN/65

Under Section 144(1) of the Code of Criminal

Procedure of 1973

Whereas, a report has been received from

the Superintendent of Police, North Goa, vide

No. SP/North/Reader/101/2017 dated 13-01-2017,

inter-alia, stating that the entry of associates/

/members of Shri Ram Sena and its leader Shri

fear in the minds of the public and tourists;

And whereas, after having carefully examined the

material put forth by the Superintendent of Police,

I am satisfied that there are sufficient grounds for

safety due to their aggressive statements or

speeches that could hurt the sentiments of certain

groups of the public and instigate violence, thus

adversely affecting public peace and tranquility;

And whereas, the Election Commission of India

has announced the General Election in the State

of Goa & the date of Polling is fixed on 04-02-2017.

The Election Model Code of Conduct has already

come into force from 04-01-2017 till the election

process is over. If Shri Muthalik or any of its
