In exercise of the powers conferred on me under

Section 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and

Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as

amended in 2005 I, Nila Mohanan, IAS, District

Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify both sides of

Hotel Belo Horizonte up to the House of Lords

entrance near Hotel Marriot Resort & from the main

road to Youth Hostel at Campal as “NO PARKING”

zone for all types of vehicles for the temporary

period from 10-02-2017 to 11-02-2017 within the

jurisdiction of Corporation of the City of Panaji in

Tiswadi Taluka.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on

me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also

authorize the erection of traffic signboards “NO

PARKING” in order to regulate the motor vehicular

traffic.

Shri Steve Almeida, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa,

Miramar, Panaji, is directed to publish this

notification through the Director of Information and

Publicity in newspapers and to make necessary

arrangements to erect the signboards at the places

indicated above and report compliance within

fifteen days time.
