Biennial Election to the Council of States to fill seat of the Member on the

Retirement on expiration of the term of Office

In pursuance of the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Representation

of the People Act, 1951, I, Shri N. B. Subhedar, Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Goa,

the Returning Officer for the Election by the members of the Goa Legislative

Assembly to fill one seat in the Council of States on the retirement of Shri Naik

Shantaram Laxman, member on the 28th July, 2017, hereby fix, with the previous

approval of the Election Commission of India, the Committee Room No. 015, V.I.P.

Block, Goa Assembly Complex, Porvorim-Goa, as the place of a poll at which

a poll will be taken in pursuance of the Election Commission’s Notification

No. 318/CS-Goa/2017(2) dated the 4th July, 2017.
