authorise the erection of cautionary signboards

“RUMBLERS AHEAD” at about 40 mts. on either

side of the Rumbler in advance of the Rumbler and

traffic signboard showing the sign “RUMBLERS”

at the placement of the Rumblers in order to

regulate the motor vehicular traffic.

The Secretary, Village Panchayat Tamboxem

Mopa Ugavem, Pernem and P.W.D. (Engineering Cell),

is directed to publish this notification through the

Director of Information and Publicity in local

newspapers and to make necessary arrangements

to construct the Rumblers and Zebra Crossing and

to erect the signboards at the places indicated

above as per the specification laid down by the

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and as

published in the Official Gazette by the

Government of Goa and report compliance within

fifteen days time.

Whereas, vide letter cited at Serial No. 1 above,

the Deputy Collector and Sub Divisional Magistrate,

Dharbandora has submitted a complaint regarding

pollution caused in water pumping area at “Signal

Kond”, Collem and requested appropriate action.

And whereas, a meeting was subsequently held

with all stakeholders by this Collectorate on

20-12-2016 at 11.00 a.m. to take urgent remedial

steps. This meeting was attended by 1) Shri

Laxmikant Kuttikar, Mamlatdar of Dharbandora,

2) Shri Sudesh Salelkar, T. A. (Civil), WDXX, PHE,

PWD, Margao representative of Executive Engineer,

3) Smt. Kiran Mamlekar, Sarpanch, VP Collem,

4) Shri Nilesh C. Satpalkar, Deputy Sarpanch, VP

Collem, 5) Shri Naresh Shigaonkar and 6) Judas

Cabral was present. During this meeting the

concerned Departments were directed to comply

with the directions issued in the minutes of the

meeting cited at serial No. 2 above. No reports were

received from the concerned departments despite

of various reminders.

Therefore, in view of the above, as the issue is of

drinking water, I, Swapnil M. Naik, IAS, Collector

and District Magistrate, South Goa District, Margao,

hereby notify No Entry Zone at 1) Signal Kond,

2) Metawada, 3) Turimorod, 4) Matoje and

5) Velipwada at Village Panchayat Collem,

Dharbandora on temporary basis till the concerned

departments take action.

The Executive Engineers (PHE), PWD/WRD shall

take necessary action for erection of cautionary

signboard, chrome plated fencing and identification

of area for installing a jet well, considering the

reservoir of water.

The Village Panchayat Collem shall take

necessary action to start Land Acquisition process

immediately if above land pertain to private owner.

The Deputy Collector & SDM, Dharbandora shall

be overall incharge of above work.

Non compliance of the order amounts to be an

offence u/s 188 of I.P.C., 1860.

Comunidade for an Extraordinary General Body

meeting at its usual place of meeting hall by

representation of 2/3 of its social capital, on 3rd

resolve on the following matters:

1. To discuss and decide about the inability

expressed by Mr. Vito Gomes to cultivate

henceforth the paddy fields designated

for cutting the first harvest on 21st

August.

daughters (since birth) of Gauncars of

conditions.

as resolved earlier by the general body in its

meeting dated 23-05-2010 and other related

issues.

4. To discuss and decide about increasing the

feast subsidy of St. Michael (Patron Saint of

Taleigao) from the existing Rs. 50,000/- to Rs.

1,00,000/-.

5. To discuss and decide about the repair/

/modification of Altar of “Our Lady of Fatima”

in St. Michael’s Church Taleigao from

Comunidade funds (Approx. 1,50,000/-).

6. To discuss and decide regarding giving

donation to “Fabrica Da Igreja de Taleigao”

towards the new upcoming project/building

in its property adjacent to church.

If the Comunidade fails to meet for the first time

again it is convened for the second time at the

same time and same place and form on the next

Wednesday for the said purpose and still if it fails

to meet the second time again it is convened for

the third time, in ordinary from on 4th Sunday at

the same time, place and for the said purpose.

The twenty major Shareholders and convened

on the said 4th Sunday at 12.00 noon to give its

opinion on the decision taken by the Comunidade

all the Mahajans of Shree Gramdev Laxminarayan

Devasthan, Shiroti, Khola is convened on 30th April,

2017 at 10.30 a.m. sharp in the Sabhamandap of the

said Devasthan to discuss the following items:-

1. Action to be taken regarding the encroach-

ment and illegal construction on the land

belonging to the said Devasthan situated at

village.
