Whereas the bye-election to Ward No. VII of
Village Panchayat Corlim (General) in Tiswadi
Taluka is scheduled to be held on 25-02-2018.
And whereas this State Election Commission
will issue a public written Notice in Form 2 of the
intended election as required under Rule 10 (3) of
the Goa Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat (Election
Procedure) Rules, 1996.
Now therefore, this State Election Commission
in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under
Article 243K of the Constitution of India and Section
237 of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 read with
Rule 10(2)(i) of the Goa Panchayat and Zilla
Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996 do
hereby notifies that the nomination papers of
candidates in respect of Ward No. VII of Village
Panchayat Corlim in Tiswadi Taluka which is going
to poll on 25th February, 2018 shall be accepted by
the respective notified place from 8th February,
2018 to 15th February, 2018 between 10.00 hrs. to
13.00 hrs. except on 11th February, 2018 being
Sunday.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under
Section 203 of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
(Goa Act 14 of 1994), I, R. K. Srivastava, IAS (Retd.),
Goa State Election Commissioner hereby
appoint the Mamlatdar of Tiswadi Taluka as the
“Requisitioning Authority” and authorise her to
requisition premises, vehicles etc. for the purpose
of bye-election to Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat
Corlim in Tiswadi Taluka.
