Whereas, the term of the Sarpanchas, Dy.
Sarpanchas and other members of the Village
Panchayats specified in column (2) of the Schedule
below will expire on 27-05-2017;
And whereas, the general elections to the said
Panchayats cannot be held;
And whereas, therefore, it is necessary to
appoint an Administrator to run the affairs and all
other activities of each of the said Panchayat till
the general elections are held and a new elected
body of members headed by the Sarpanch takes
the charge of the respective Panchayat;
And whereas, the Government has decided to
appoint the outgoing Sarpanch as Administrator
of the respective Panchayat.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 180 of the
Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Goa Act 14 of 1994),
the Government of Goa hereby appoints the persons
specified in column (3) of the Schedule below as
Administrator of the Panchayat mentioned in the
corresponding entry in column (2) of the said
Schedule with effect from 28-05-2017 until the post
of Sarpanch and Dy. Sarpanch has been filled after
the Village Panchayat Election 2017 or until further
orders.

Whereas, the term of the Sarpanchas, Dy.
Sarpanchas and other members of the Village
Panchayats specified in column (2) of the Schedule
below will expire on 27-05-2017;
And whereas, the general elections to the said
Panchayats cannot be held;
And whereas, therefore, it is necessary to
appoint an Administrator to run the affairs and all
other activities of each of the said Panchayat till
the general elections are held and a new elected
body of members headed by the Sarpanch takes
the charge of the respective Panchayat;
And whereas, the Government has decided to
appoint the outgoing Sarpanch as Administrator of
the respective Panchayat.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 180 of the
Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Goa Act 14 of 1994),
the Government of Goa hereby appoints the persons
specified in column (3) of the Schedule below as
Administrator of the Panchayat mentioned in the
corresponding entry in column (2) of the said
Schedule with effect from 28-05-2017 until the post
of Sarpanch and Dy. Sarpanch has been filled after
the Village Panchayat Election 2017 or until further
orders.
