In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Goa Land

Revenue Code (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Goa Act No. 18 of 2016), the Government of Goa

hereby appoints the 1st day of June, 2017 as the date on which the provisions of sections

2(i)(b), 2(ii), 3, 4 and 7 of the said Act shall come into force.
