In exercise of the powers conferred on me
under Section 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
and Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as
amended in 2005, I, Vikas S. N. Gaunekar, District
Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify the space in
front of the Excise & Commercial Tax building at
Panaji as “Parking for Government Vehicles Only”
within the jurisdiction of Corporation of the City of
Panaji in Tiswadi Taluka.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on
me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also
authorise the erection of traffic signboards “Parking
for Government Vehicles Only” in order to regulate
the motor vehicular traffic.
The Commissioner, Corporation of the City of
Panaji, Tiswadi shall publish this notification
through the Director of Information and Publicity
in local newspapers and make necessary
arrangements to erect the signboards at the places
indicated above and to report compliance within
fifteen days time.
