In exercise of the powers conferred upon me vide Rule 5 of the Goa Panchayat and Zilla

Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, Shri R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner of Goa

State Election Commission, hereby notify that the Electoral Rolls of the Goa Legislative

Assembly prepared under the provisions of the Representation of People Act, 1950

(Central Act 43 of 1951) for the time being in force as on 1st January, 2018 (published

on 10th January, 2018) for such Constituency of the Assembly or any part thereof as is

included in the area within the jurisdiction of the Village Panchayats shall be adopted

for the purpose of preparation of Electoral Roll for ensuing bye-elections to Ward No. VI

of Village Panchayat Carmona (General) and Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Ambelim

(Reserved for OBC) in Salcete Taluka.
