Whereas the bye-election to ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Carmona and ward

No. VII of Village Panchayat Ambelim in Salcete Taluka is scheduled to be held on

21st October, 2018.

Now, therefore, I, Shri R. K. Srivastava, IAS (Retd.), State Election Commissioner, Goa

State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Article 243 K of the Constitution

of India and Section 237 of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 read with Rule 49 of the Goa

Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, do hereby notify that the

counting of votes in respect of bye-election to ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Carmona

and ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Ambelim in Salcete Taluka will be done on

22nd October, 2018 from 8.00 hrs. till the counting is completed as mentioned below:-

Subject: Extension of time limit for submitting the declaration in FORM GST TRAN-1

under Rule 117(1A) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 in certain

cases.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1A) of Rule 117 of the Goa Goods and

Services Tax Rules, 2017 read with Section 168 of the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act,

2017, on the recommendations of the Council, the Commissioner hereby extends the

period for submitting the declaration in FORM GST TRAN-1 till 31st January, 2019, for

the class of registered persons who could not submit the said declaration by the due date

on account of technical difficulties on the common portal and whose cases have been

recommended by the Council.
